 Pathways to Discipleship

Practicing Christianity includes periodically Polishing Our Lenses so that we see more clearly.  What transformation could happen if we were able to discern our own blind spots and explore what it actually means to love as Jesus asks us to?  In this unit, a range of speakers will help us sharpen our focus on the world by seeing through others’ eyes.

The Big Ditch  (-48.53) - Podcast with Brian McLaren, Center for Action and Contemplation

Contemplate on this poem by Rumi:

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,

there is a field. I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,

the world is too full to talk about.

Ideas, language, even the phrase ‘each other’

doesn’t make any sense.
