Pathways to Discipleship
April brings a variety of classes:
April 7 – “A Faithful Lens on A.I.” – What questions about Artificial Intelligence should we be asking as a faith community? Join us for a discussion on these questions led by Mark Caldwell.
April 14 – “Climate change: The popular discussion vs. the scientific perspective” - A climate scientist focuses on the science of climate change and what progress is being made in addressing it. Led by Dr. Jack Scheff, Assistant Professor in Geography and Earth Sciences at UNC Charlotte.

April 21 – “Getting to Know Brian McLaren” – Learn more about Brian McLaren, 2024 Willard Lecturer. Led by Rev. Pen Peery
April 28 – “Faith and Our Ecological Crisis” - Author, theologian, and Willard Lecturer Brian McLaren will share his view that loving our neighbors and ourselves means treating the earth in a way that reverses the damage being done against the whole web of life. Led by Brian McLaren

May 5 - "50 Days, 7 Deacons, 1 Martyr” - Rev. Robert Galloway will explore how the spirit moved in the early church.

May 12 - Outreach Volunteer Appreciation Sunday School – Global and Local Update - Learn about and celebrate the ways First Presbyterian has participated in God’s work in Charlotte and around the world.
